SSC MTS & Havaldar Exam 2025: New Schedule Expected Soon for Over 8,000 Vacancies
New Delhi – The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to announce a new schedule for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) and Havaldar recruitment examinations soon. Candidates awaiting their admit cards should keep a close watch on the official website, as the original examination timeline has been revised.
Revised Examination Timeline
The exams were initially scheduled to take place between 20 September and 24 October 2025. However, according to the latest notification from the SSC, this timeline is set to change.
The commission has clarified that the Tier 1 phase for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination will now begin from the fourth week of October 2025. The notice further states that the MTS examination, along with the SI CPO and JE exams, will take place after the CHSL exams conclude. The specific dates for the MTS and Havaldar exams are yet to be announced but will be notified soon.
Due to the delay in issuing admit cards for the original dates, the commission is expected to release a new, detailed examination schedule shortly.

This recruitment drive aims to fill a substantial number of positions, with a total of 8,021 vacancies up for grabs. The breakdown of these posts is as follows:

- Havaldar: 1,211 vacancies
